We are delighted that you are considering submitting your work to the Betta Health Equity Journal. To ensure a smooth submission process, please carefully follow the instructions provided below. Adherence to these guidelines will facilitate a timely and efficient review of your manuscript.
Manuscript Preparation
- Title Page: Should include the title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and the corresponding author's contact information.
- Abstract: A concise summary of the research (250 words maximum) highlighting the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 3-5 keywords that reflect the main topics of the manuscript.
- Main Text: Structured with the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Ensure clarity and coherence throughout.
- References: List all references in Vancouver format. Ensure all in-text citations are included in the reference list.
- Tables and Figures: Include these at the end of the manuscript with appropriate titles and captions. Ensure they are cited in the text.
Formatting Requirements
- File Format: Submit manuscripts as Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) files.
- Font and Spacing: Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced text, and 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Headings: Use clear, descriptive headings to organize the manuscript.
- Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the bottom right corner of each page.
- Supplementary Material: Submit any supplementary material (e.g., datasets, multimedia files) as separate files.
- Figure Requirements: Submitted figures should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi with a width of 8.5 or 17.5cm. File size should be under 10MB per figure
- Table Formatting: Use clear, simple layouts. Avoid vertical lines; use horizontal lines sparingly. Define all abbreviations in a footnote.
